Betsy's Blossoms - It's Retiring!

Monday night I hosted our local Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Gathering.
One fun and encouraging perk to being a demonstrator is coming together to encourage, to share and to create.
As a team leader I always like to have one to two projects for all these sweet ladies to create.
I looked to my stamps and really wanted to use a set that is on the RETIRING LIST so Betsy's Blossom's was the chosen one.  Why have I not used this more?  LOVE the big blossom...

You can really use this for any occasion.
I sat down after everyone left on Monday night and created 5 more of these for birthday, thank you and thinking of you cards.
That's the way to go...when you find a card you really like, create a bundle so you have extra when you are in a jam and running out the door.

Betsy's Blossoms come in a set of 6 and runs either $21.95 or $28.95 depending upon whether you want it in wood or clear mount.  You can find it on the retiring list when you click HERE.

Have you also heard it's FREE SHIPPING this week with Stampin' Up?

It's rare that they provide this so if you are needing more adhesive, more cardstock, you have your eye on some of those retiring stamps, you DEFINITELY want to take advantage of the free shipping this week!

Lookin' Fine

Happy Monday!

If you are reading this and you live in Kalispell, Montana, do you not just LOVE the sunshine?  Side note to those who don't live here...we don't see the sun much.  :-)

Last week I hosted a fabulous group of ladies who happen to be 80% teachers who requested some graduation card ideas.  I went to work creating some cards using our two high school colors and came up with these fun designs.

There are so many generic plain 'ole graduation cards on the market...nice to give a personal touch to someone close!

If you happen to need a few sweet graduation cards, let me know.  I may have connections on who could create them for you.  :-)

Enjoy your Monday!

Rainbow of Thanks

Last week my kiddos and I got caught up on some well-needed "Thank You" cards.  Many are going in the mail today so I hope this post doesn't spoil the fun of receiving a card from for those who will be receiving "happy" mail the middle of this week!

I look to inspiration all around me when I start to create.  Granted, lately, I can't look too closely around my room as installation doesn't lend well to creativity, BUT I'm thankful for many magazines I have lying around the home, whether paper crafting or home decor.

Simple but sweet!

Look closely at the sample on the right side.  I loved the look, used my Stampin' Up! products that I owned and made it my own!

You can do this too!

We ALL have a bit of creativity in us when we use what we have surrounding us.

Here is to a week full of color and hopefully some sunshine in this neck of the woods.  :-)

Last Day to Sale-a-Brate & Banner Blast

Happy Monday and LAST day of Stampin' Up!'s fabulous Sale-a-bration promotion!  It's hard to believe that we've been having fun with these free stamps, punches, and products for over two months now. Crazy how time seems to scream by...

Here is one last fun card using the Banner Blast stamp set and punch from the selection of free products.

I was designing cards last week for my Pinterest-Inspired Sale-a-Bration class and when I saw my "coffee cup" in my collection of stamps I immediately knew what I wanted to do.
I'm thinking this is a great card for a friend who loves coffee but you love them as well

Two-fold purchase, don't you think?

I think the ladies who attended last week loved it too.

You can receive this adorable stamp set and coordinating punch for FREE when you choose any $50 of Stampin' Up! product, BUT today is the last day!  Your items can be from the Clearance Rack, Occasions Catalog, digital downloads or printing products or from the main Idea Book & Catalog!

It's also the last day to purchase the most cost efficient starter kit if you want to jump into paper crafting!  For $99 you can choose $150 in product (ANYTHING YOU WANT) and pay no shipping!  That's $60 for free!  Check it out HERE!

If you want to take advantage of the free items you can simply contact me and I'll add your items to an order I am placing this evening or you can visit my online store by visiting and click on Shop.

Hope your Monday is fabulous!

See Ya Later In a Twist

Here's another fun Pinterest-Inspired card we're creating at tomorrow's class.

I was inspired by Mercedes Weber's design HERE.  She is one of the annual Artisan Award members this past year with Stampin' Up!  Every year any demonstrator can submit their creativity in three different categories and 10 people are chosen to "hold the torch" so to speak throughout the year. It's quite the honor!  I've always been a "fan" of Mercedes work as it's rare that a piece she creates comes out "wrong".

So here it is...

I had fun piecing this together mainly because of the GLITZ, the CHEVRON and the LAYERS!
Also, I had to bring out the fabulous "Stamp-a-ma-jig"!  Aaaahhh, the dreaded "ma-jig".  Either you love it or you hate it!

You see, the Sale-a-Bration set we are using (See Ya Later) actually looks like a whole lot different but I loved how you could marker in bits and pieces on these stamps to use exactly what you want.

And of course we had to add some GLITZ to the inside of the card as well!

4 cards - $10
All Pinterest-Inspired Sale-a-Bration cards!
1:00 - 3:00 or 7:00 - 9:00

Have a fabulous day!

Petal Parade

When you attend my Pinterest-Inspired Sale-a-Bration Class this Thursday we will be creating cards inspired by other creative women!  When I saw this card I immediately thought of my wedding as I had BRIGHT Gerber Daisies in my bouquets and throughout the room.  It was HAPPY!

Thanks to Ruth Norton who created this beautiful card.
One in which I immediately fell in love with!

And here is my little take on it.  I didn't want to change it up much because the colors and the "bouquet" is what I fell in love with in the first place!

Here are a few details I changed:
-Deleted the Pumpkin Pie Circle behind the sentiment
-Added some grunge in the white space
-Used a flower punch I had on hand
-Added a brad instead of pearl to the center of my flowers.

Everyone who attends on Thursday will be able to create this card PLUS three other fun cards!  These two stamp sets we are using (Petal Parade and You're Lovely) are part of the Sale-a-Bration goodies you can receive for free when you purchase $50 through the end of March.

My day is open for you to come at any time between 10:00 - 3:00 and then again from 7:00 - 9:00.  We'll be creating 4 cards for $10.  Use your blow money to create cards instead of heading to the movies this week!  You'll be able to turn around and encourage a friend with a homemade card!

Just look how this color POPS!  Just love it!

Please RSVP so I have your materials ready for you!

Also as a reminder, it's Tuesday so Stampin' Up! has some awesome weekly specials for us!

You can pick all these up and more online when you visit and click on "Shop"

If you live local, I hope to see you on Thursday!
Enjoy your day and thank you for swinging by.  :-)
