Disney World - Day 2

Goodmorning to you!
As much as I had hoped to be updating my blog with the exciting week my family and I have had here at Walt Disney World there is only so much time in the day and we've spent every minute searching for Mickey or riding on that one last ride or sitting in on the fabulous shows.
These kiddos can go hard...but then they are out in a blink when their head hits the pillow.
With my camera at my side I've tried to capture as much as I can.  I hope they will look back with fond memories.
Here is a bit of our first day at Magic Kingdom on Monday.
First off, Sunday night we came back to our room to find this waiting for us!
How fun is that?
Filled with snacks galore for our day at Magic Kingdom!
And then we hit it hard Monday morning...6:00 alarm rang in order to get out the door for a special showing of the Monster's, Inc. Comedy show.
We got into the park before it was open to the public!

First sight of Cinderella's castle!

Here is our amazing Stampin' Up! team from the home office
who has kept the week rolling smooth!
These ladies are great!
The girls said "Beauty" was the most wonderful of all!
I do wonder if I had a bigger smile or my girls?
Please don't grow up...
So, I got teary-eyed at this parade.
The eyes were as open as they could get and I was living it through my kids' experience.
It IS a magical place!
Guess who? :-)
We have eaten like kings and queens this week...
its going to be hard to go back to our peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for lunch.  :-)
We stayed until the 11:00 Parade of Lights...
...but some of us missed 1/2 of the floats...
...and others didnt quite make it home.
Day 2 of Disney World reminded me once again that there is still GOOD in the world...Disney truly takes you from one realistic
world to a world where kids dream again!
Thank you, Stampin' Up!

  1. Hey Alisha!

I wish I could see Cinderella's face in the photo. She actually grew up in the house next door to us and I've known her for many years, since she was a toddler. The family still lives there. Of course, there is more than one Cinderella at Disneyworld's Magic Kingdom, but it is her full-time job and based on the day you saw her, I'm 99.9% sure it is Kristin :) Just a fun thing to share with you! So glad you and the family are having a great time! Looking forward to seeing you in a couple of weeks! - Terry
