Zoe turns 7!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

Hope you had a great weekend.'s been busy around here.

A GREAT busy though...

First oral report for Zoe in 1st Grade.
I think I was more nervous for her than she was...believe it or not I was terrified to be in front of people growing up
 (still am, kind of)  ;-)
She did great...I was so proud of her!
Zoe's birthday was Friday so cupcakes for ALL!

It's fun when you have the right tools...Love Pampered Chef's Easy Accent Decorator.
She picked "American Girl Doll" theme this year so I did some digging and had fun coming up with decorations.
Pinwheels using the Patterns Designer Series Paper Stacks and many punches!
I found the dolls on the American Girl Doll site and just copied and pasted to My Digital Studio, printed and punched out with the 1-3/4" Circle Punch.  Of course, layering is important so here comes the Circles #2 Original Die for the Pacific Point layer and the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch using the Real Red.
Zoe's cake decor was easy to create with the Petite Pennants Builder Punch and the Typeless Type Junior Alphabet Sizzlits Dies
I actually had fun baking...hmmm...not as much fun as stamping though!  :-)

The Clearance RACK hooked me up with the below banner!
Get this, there are over 100 letters and numbers to choose from and you attach them by brads which means you can take it apart and reuse it for other spellings.
It will be perfect for the 4th of July as I'll use all the red letters.

After taking all the letters apart (they are perferated) the designer paper is too awesome to throw away...perfect for punching out the pennants for the cake.  :-)
Scraps are good!

Dolls were the honored guests...
...lemonade with dinner...
Party hats for everyone!
On the Clearance Rack they are only $1.99 for 8 of them!
I added the red strings coming out the top.  :-)

I know it was worth it when I heard Zoe say,
"I'll remember this day forever, Mama."

You can still get in on the savings!
